Kim is the most talented photographer I have ever met. She can quickly find the perfect lighting in a random space and capture the moment so beautifully. As an awkward bride, it was so helpful that she directed me and knew how to pose me to get the best pictures. First of 5/5 stars and highly recommend! We live overseas and she was very willing to work with our time zone and do a zoom planning call. The day of the wedding she was prepared and I loved how much direction she gave us. I don't know how to pose and I didn't have specific looks in mind. I could not be more thrilled with the job that Kim Dean did on our wedding day. Not only does she have a fantastic eye for incredible shots she is beyond great to work with. She was so personable, giving us excellent posing suggestions that did not in any way feel forced which definitely comes out through the photos since we were so comfortable - they are naturally beautiful! After only receiving my sneak peeks I am in awe over the quality of the images. I've been a Baltimore Maryland wedding photographer for over 8 years now. Established in 2015, I began shooting small budget weddings with just one mid-frame camera and one flash. Fast forward to NOW... three cameras, 6 lenses, four strobes, and years of knowledge under my belt... it's been a heck of a ride. I've shot well over 150 weddings as well as served a few hundred couples with engagement sessions and elopement photography!

I pour my heart and soul into any wedding day, as should be the case for all wedding photographers. The experience involves my execution of the images you crave with intention and strategic planning. Every wedding requires different methods to achieving your desired results. I take this very seriously, especially by developing a solid timeline to keep you stress free and enjoying your entire wedding rather than feeling rushed. Padding time to assure you're taken care of and your needs are met is a prime priority. Furthermore, I'm fantastic with people, enjoy helping everyone feel comfortable in front of my lens, and carry a sense of humor, always.
Vibrant and candid oriented. I LOVE color, and I don't mute out colors or wash anything out... rather I remain as true to color as possible with an artistic flare. I want you to look at these images in 10-20 years from now and actually see the setting in its true form... colors and all! I see so many styles among Baltimore wedding photographers, and some include the very light and airy... or the moody and darker muted look. I love both of them, but for weddings I stick to vibrant and true to color!
will you travel?
Absolutely! Although I absolutely love working as Maryland wedding photographer, I will travel anywhere! Some of my favorite destination wedding photography, and engagement photography locations have been Puerto Rico, Jamaica, and Green River Utah. I love adventure and seeing new places. If a destination wedding is on the table, I am all ears to see how we can make it work.
How soon will we see our wedding pictures?
I proudly guarantee, in writing actually!, that all wedding couples WILL receive a bare minimum of a dozen sneak peek images the day following their wedding! I LOVE the process of loading up the images the very next morning and adding the final creative touch to them within my photo editing process.

do you shoot alone or with a second shooter?
There are plenty of wedding photographers in Maryland who shoot entire weddings solo, but I'm not that person! Here's why... its' just a bad idea! Even the most experienced Baltimore wedding photographer out there should not risk shooting a wedding day alone. I go into in depth detail with my clients about the time frame that I believe always works best for a second shooter to be present.
